Language presets and customizable client-facing labels
The problem Client-facing system labels such as Included service items, Add-ons, Package total, Tax and Pay now need to match the client's language and the business's own wording. Browser translation alone does not provide consistent wording across documents, PDFs and emails. Planned direction Introduce a shared approach to language and label customization, starting with client-facing documents. Choose language presets, with Dutch as a key customer need. Customize system labels for the business, with document-specific wording where appropriate. Keep labels consistent across the document editor, client view, PDFs and related emails. Preserve custom wording when a language preset is updated. Preserve the labels and language on previously sent documents. Connect language preferences with correct currency, number and date formatting. The same assessment will consider localization for the main app and client portal. Final language coverage, scope for each area and rollout timing are still being determined. Automatically translating business-authored package descriptions or contracts is outside this request.
